Scrap Block #25

What you need:

Color fabric:

• 4 - 2" x 3 1/2" rectangles
• 4 - 2" squares
• 2 - 4 3/8" squares

White fabric:

• 4 - 2" x 3 1/2" rectangles
• 2 - 4 3/8" squares

Make the half square triangles (HST). Lay one color fabric 4 3/8" square on a white fabric 4 3/8" square. Mark a diagonal line on the squares, then sew 1/4" away from both sides of the line. Trim along the line. Trim to measure 3 1/2" square and press open.

Sew together the 2" x 3 1/2" rectangles in pairs.

Sew together the 2" squares.

Assemble the block.
