This is the most complicated quilt I have made in a while. I love how it turned out! It contains 5 rows of 5 blocks. Those blocks contain 549 squares and 260 triangles.
I like how the centers of the chain blocks contain the colors of the flowers. It really ties the whole quilt together.
The quilt and the pattern for it are available in my shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/FluffyPuppyQuilts
I managed to make two baby quilts out of the leftovers! Those were just as fun as the lap quilt itself. Since the baby quilts had the same quilt top design, I quilted them differently and got to see two different quilting methods on similar quilts. The first baby quilt I free motion quilted (FMQ) loops and leaves. The second baby quilt I quilted cross hatching. On both I quilted something different on the border. The first quilt I stitched a wavy line in the little border. For the second, I used a decorative stitch on both edges of the border.

The flower lap quit started out as a LOT of little pieces.
It slowly came together.
And ended up beautiful!
