On Point Squares Baby Quilt

This quit was so fun to make, and I just love the colors! It measures 36" x 42". When I pieced it together, I just randomly grabbed squares and tried hard not to care about two of the same fabrics touching. When you have less than 6 or 7 fabrics in a quilt, it looks more random when you do this than if you try to keep the same colors apart. With not enough fabrics, the only possible ways of keeping the same fabrics from touching is by putting them into some sort of pattern, but I wanted this to look completely random. The fabrics are from the Affinity collection by Jessica Swift for Blend Fabrics.

I quilted it with simple cross hatching in white thread. I used a plain baby pink cotton flannel for the back.

I have more of these fabrics in blue, and I can't wait to use them for another baby quilt!
