Scrap Block #30

What you need:

Color fabric:

• 3 - 3 1/2" squares
• 2 - 4 3/8" squares

White fabric:

• 2 - 3 1/2" squares
• 2 - 4 3/8" squares

Make the half square triangles (HST). Lay one of the color fabric 4 3/8" squares on a white fabric 4 3/8" square. Mark a diagonal line along the squares, then sew 1/4" away from both sides of the line. Cut along the line. Press open and trim to measure 3 1/2" square.

Repeat this with the remaining 4 3/8" squares so that you have a total of 4 HSTs.

Assemble the block.
