Scrap Block #32

What you need:

Color fabric:
  • 4 - 3 1/8" squares
  • 4 - 2 3/4" x 2" rectangles
  • 4 - 2 3/4" x 3 1/2" rectangles
White fabric:
  • 1 - 5 3/4" square

Lay 2 of the 3 1/8" squares on the white fabric square. Squares should overlap at the corners. Mark a line down the squares, then sew 1/4" away from both sides of the line.

Cut along the line.

Press back the color fabric.

Place each of the remaining 3 1/8" squares on the triangle pieces. Mark a line on the squares and sew 1/4" away from both sides of it. Cut along the line.

Press back the color fabric, and you now have 4 flying geese blocks! For more detailed instructions on using this flying geese method, visit this post.

Assemble the block.
