Scrap Block #21

What you need:

Color fabric:

  • 8 - 2 3/4" x 5" rectangles
White fabric:

  • 16 - 2" squares

Sew together the 8 - 2 3/4" x 5" rectangles in pairs to make 4 - 5" squares.

Sew the 2" squares onto the corners of the 5" squares. Position one square on the corner of a 5" square right sides together. Mark a diagonal line along the square.

Sew along the line, then trim excess fabric.

Press back the triangle.

Repeat this for all the corners.

Assemble the block.

Almost halfway done with the whole scrap quilt!
